Levemir® insulin Detemir injection,is a sterile solution of insulin detemir used as injection to control high blood sugar in adults and children in with diabetes mellitus. As a long-acting (or basal) insulin, Levemir® Flexpen Insulin provides blood sugar control for up to 24 hours.
- Unopened Levemir® should be kept in the refrigerator for long storage at a temperature range between 36° and 46°F (2° and 8°C)
- Still, Levemir can last for upto 42 days without refrigeration at room temperature, i.e below 86°F (30°C
